Can I just get one park hopper pass at DIsneyWorld?
We are going to Disney and are looking into tickets/parking options. Can we get one 7 day park hopper ticket and one 7 day magic your way ticket and use the park hopper for the free parking? I think parking is $11/day and park hopper option is $7 more per day. So wouldn’t it be worth the money to add it to only one ticket if we werent planning on park “hopping”?
You can get park hopper on just one of your tickets but only that person can hop and it will Not accomplish what you are trying to do – You Do Not get free parking with a hopper. Only those staying on Disney property.
You can Not park at a resort as suggested here: You can visit any Disney resort and will be given a two hour parking permit – then it’s tow away time.
You could park at Downtown and catch a bus to a resort and then back to a park but this will take up a lot of your time to save a few dollars. The bus routes are designed for on property guests but I have stayed on property many times and never been ask for my resort id, so I suspect you could do this.
I believe parking this year is $13 – again I have only stayed on property since 2005. I advise on property but if for your own reasons you choose not to – just pay to park – it’s more work than it’s worth to try and save and not worth the risk of parking where you should not.
Now – annual pass holders do get free parking and depending upon the number of days you are staying is may be worth purchasing one of those. The most affordable that includes parking and other discounts is $499. for an adult pass.
